Br. A.K. Zaman passed away this morning in Houston. He was a long time resident of Atchison, Kansas; Leawood, Kansas and more recently of Houston, Texas. May Allah grant him the highest place in Paradise and may Allah grant Sabr’ to the family- Mrs Taj Zaman, their children Fiaz, Riaz and Sarah, extended family and friends.

Greater Kansas City Interfaith Council again celebrates World Interfaith Harmony Week, introducing the Greater Kansas City Interfaith Film Festival. Opening night, February 2 and Tuesday, February 6 will all occur at the Truman Forum of the Plaza Library. Films will also be shown at the Rime Center and Johnson County Library, with a wrap-up event at All Souls Unitarian Unitarian Universalist Church on Wednesday, February 7.
